On Sunday, May 6, from 2 to 4 p.m., Parr Library,
6200 Windhaven Parkway, will host Out and About:
Family Outings in the Metroplex, featuring local
authors: Kim Bannister, Kelli Chabria and Lynda
Morley.
Lynda Morley, author of “Lynda Morley’s Outings
and Adventures Everywhere!” shares suggestions
on how to encourage an interest in science, history
and the arts by visiting entertaining sites.
Kim Bannister and Kelli Chabria, authors of
“Little Dallas: The Definitive Guide to Life with
Little Ones,” will share tips and
recommendations on indoor and outdoor activities,
where to get the best services (haircuts, birthday
parties, etc.) and child-friendly restaurants.
